Check and adapt PDF/A - directly from your SAP DMS

With the PDF/A Integration for SAP DMS, the storage of PDF files in the SAP system can be controlled and checked for PDF/A conformity.

This process can be configured by the user. Depending on the chosen PDF standard for comparison and the differences contained in a file, the result of checking will be:

• a PDF file adapted to the set standard
• an error code
• a detailed error message in XML format

The adapted files can be assigned to the corresponding DIS additionally or instead of the original PDF file. In the end there will be an overview file of all checked documents which can be used for statistics.
